Dude... you have nothing to worry about on the colors on this one. Its a really fantastic picture. Nice imagery with all the worlds spinning around, can't say I can really read the symbols but they lend a nice visual aspect. The purple behind brings out the blues a little more too. The lion himself is really superb... I love the expression... I think you captured a very nice sense of grandeur and benevolent judgement.

Wow! You got those colors from my avatar? That's awesome! I feel kinda honored. Worked out fantastic. You're very welcome for the comments... I just know what I like and like to tell people when I think they did a good job. Who wants to do something that takes 5 or 6 hours and get nothing but good, great, nice job. That's boring. And tells you nothing... so much better to get a little detail. ;-)

Very nice. =D I am really amazed with what you can do in MS Paint, and really curious to see what you can do in something better, like Painter IX. Anatomy is amazing, and the colors are very pleasent to look at. Probably because they are on the same side of the color wheel.
